UL, As a common certificate in north American market, you can see there are kinds of standards for the LED driver / LED power supply for LED lighting like class 2, type HL, class p, Then, what is Type HL?

Type HL means that a UL LED driver for hazardous (classified) position (power supply must be fully filled).

Any dimmable or non dimmable LED drivers with the "Type HL" mark can be used directly for installation in hazardous (classified) position without further evaluation of UL.

The Type HL of the driver is defined in UL8750. Simply, it can be installed in Class I Division 2 for Hazardous Location.
