Before selecting a dimmer switch for your LEDs or compact fluorescents, you need to make sure you have the proper type of bulb available, there are several choices, a-style, decorative, reflectors and MR16. R20, R30 and R40, spiral shape. However, different leds require different technology, you should purchase dimmers that state they with the compatibility with your bulbs. Single poles are designed for light fixtures that only have one switch. and light has several switches but dimming is only needed on one switch, 3-way will be used. If you would like to dim the lights from all locations, use a multi-location dimmer. There are also available with tap screens and wireless feature dimmers on options.
